Friends of Draven REV THEORY are currently at Los Angeles' Henson studios recording its as-yet-untitled new album with famed veteran rock producer Terry Date (SOUNDGARDEN, PANTERA, DEFTONES). The follow-up to 2008's "Light It Up" is scheduled for release in early 2011 via Interscope.

"To be able to sit in the same room and work on your music with a guy that has produced some of your favorite bands is absolutely surreal," said lead vocalist Rich Luzzi.

"We have worked tirelessly to get to this point in our careers, and to get an opportunity to make an album with Terry Date feels right for the band and the music," added guitarist Julien Jorgensen.

The title track from REV THEORY's sophomore CD was chosen as the theme to Wrestlemania XXIV. The first single, "Hell Yeah", from "Light It Up", became a fist-pumping anthem for masses of concertgoers and is currently the theme song for Spike's hit TV show "Blue Mountain State".

REV THEORY will begin touring in late 2010 in support of the forthcoming album.
